SUB-HAULER PAYMENT PLAN
TO LEASED-ON OWNER/OPERATORS
One of the challenges many carriers face is finding quality owner/operators to either lease on or use as sub-haulers in moving loads. To assist them in successfully attracting the best owner operators, Capital came up with a program in which we pay your sub-haulers or owner/operators directly, within a timeframe that is attractive enough to make hauling for you a priority. Your options range from 7-21 days after we have received the invoice for payment.
CARRIER BENEFITS:
• Ability to attract the quantity and quality of owner/operators or sub-haulers you need
• Ability to pass all or a portion of the cost on to the owner/operator, sub-hauler through Early Payment Discounts
SUB-HAULER, OWNER/OPERATOR BENEFITS:
• Improved cash flow through accelerated payment of their invoices
• Ability to negotiate cash discounts on fuel, tires, equipment and maintenance
PROGRAM FEATURES:
• Carrier initiates the program agreement and selects a 7, 14 or 21 day sub-hauler, owner/operator payment program
• Capital receives the carrier's invoice along with all of the required supporting documentation, processes the paperwork and bills the shipper
• At the same time, Capital sets the sub-hauler, owner/operator up for payment on the agreed upon date: (7, 14, or 21 days)
• Capital advances the carrier their portion of the invoice amount and holds the sub-hauler's, owner/operator's portion until the agreed upon date of payment
• Capital pays the sub-hauler, owner/operator on the agreed upon date
• The shipper's payment goes directly to Capital's bank
• Capital deducts their fees and then rebates the balance to the carrier or the carrier's reserve account
This program is great for the carrier and their sub-hauler, owner/operators. The carrier is pleased to have a program that attracts additional trucks and the truckers are happy to receive payment for their services much quicker.
